Why A Crewed Yacht?

More than a bare boat When your plane touches down at Beef Island International airport, your BVI sailing holiday will begin. We collect you from the airport and take you to AMICUS, who will be moored just minutes away. You won't lose the first day shopping for your provisions, preparing the boat or attending briefings that you might otherwise have to do. Also, something is always "not quite right" on any bare boat charter yacht.

Within an hour of arrival you will be able to sail away, stop for a swim and a snorkel, have fun and relax aboard AMICUS. Instead of having to spend your first evening in a marina or a hotel, you can enjoy your time at a secluded anchorage or a lively bar - the choice is yours!

Sunset from Cayo Lobo, SVI's Similarly, your holiday continues aboard AMICUS to the time your flight departs. You can enjoy a magical final sail to a landing near your point of departure, a last swim, a laze and a shower. When you step ashore we will take you the short distance to the check in. No fuss and no delay. If you bare boat you may have to return the yacht to it's marina hours, or even the day before your departure. Spend time tidying and cleaning it to ensure your deposit is refunded and then have to hang around waiting for the taxi to take you to the airport usually with hours to spare!

You will be our only guests. All the space on AMICUS will be yours to enjoy and none of the facilities will be shared with anyone else. You will have our undivided attention and we will do our very best to do things just the way you like.

The holiday itinerary is yours and arranged with us to suite exactly what you would like to do and where you would like to go. We will discuss your wishes with you before your arrive in the BVI's and ensure that everything you want is waiting aboard for you. If you want to change the plan on a day by day basis once you are with us then that's fine too.
